Easter Appliques

I've added some new Easter Appliques to the website and am in the process of designing two more.  I also have finally completed some $1 designs and all I need to do is upload them.  In between all of this I've gotten some orders for invitations through WritefullySew.com and through my Etsy store, so I've been VERY busy designing, digitizing, printing, being a mom/wife, and working my full-time job - but I've LOVED every minute of it.  I think I strive on just a little bit of chaos in my life - it makes me crazy, but it motivates me to get things done.

$1 Designs on hold for now...but NEW Appliques available!!

Well, I was hoping to get my $1 Designs up and running, but I've been SUPER bust trying to design new appliques.  I have a friend that owns Wee-Peats consignment and they do custom appliques, so she's asked me to help design some appliques, which I love to do because it builds my product line, but I had to put my $1 designs on hold for the time being.  I promise my $1 Designs will be a new product line, but it may be 2-3 weeks before I can add them to the website.  Sorry for the inconvenience :(

Anyway, I've added 20 new applique designs to the website, so please check them out!!!

Writefully Sew

Embroidery Designs Coming Up....

Ok, so I'm a little behind schedule on my $1 Designs, but I should have them uploaded this week!  I was in the middle of digitizing several designs when all of a sudden my software crashed for NO reason.  I wanted to scream.  Well, I was able to recover all of my files, but the HUGE problem with this was that when I went to save the files it wouldn't save correctly. So, I spent an entire day digitizing and stitching only to have to start ALL over again!!!  So upset.  Luckily it was Mardi Gras here on March 8, and I literally spent all day redesigning all of my work.  It rained almost all day and there weren't any parades here in Thibodaux, so it gave me a good chance to catch up.

Well, just wanted to keep you posted to check back this week for new designs.  Also, once I'm done with adding new embroidery designs to my collection, I'll start working on adding new invitations too.  I think it'll have to be a "1 week embroidery/1 week invitations" work schedule :)

Etsy Store

Well I opened an Etsy Store!!!  Unfortunately, someone had already taken the name Writefully Sew, so it wasn't available, but you can find us listed as Writefully Sew Invites.  Little different but it works. 

So, how is my Etsy store different from my website???  Well, if YOU want to do the printing and not have to wait for Writefully Sew to print your invitations then this is the place for you.  I'm ONLY offering digital files in my Etsy store. 

How does it work?  If you look on my Etsy store, http://www.etsy.com/shop/WritefullySewInvites you will see that there's only 1 product in stock, but you still completely customize the design, wording, font color, etc. I send you a proof, you approve the proof, and you do the printing.  The only thing is that envelopes are not included, and the turnaround time depends on you.  If you approve the proof within 1 day, then that's your turnaround time.  So, if you need invites ASAP and you want to handle the printing, then this is perfect for you!  I'm very excited about my new stores!  Hope you check us out!
